BP Journal ("we", "our", or "the app") is designed from the ground up to protect your personal health privacy. All blood pressure readings, timestamps, and notes remain exclusively stored on your personal device using local storage (SQLite via Room). We operate no remote servers, require no user accounts, and collect zero telemetry.
We do not collect, process, transmit, or share any personal health data, device identifiers, or analytics with any third party. The application includes no third-party tracking, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
When you choose to generate a PDF report for your doctor, the document is synthesized entirely on your local device using Android's native graphics engine. The resulting file is shared strictly via standard Android system intents to applications explicitly chosen by you (such as your email client or printer service).
Android system auto-backup and device-to-device transfer are explicitly excluded for the app database to prevent unintentional copying of your medical readings to cloud storage providers.
The application is intended for adult users managing their blood pressure logs and does not knowingly collect information from children.
BP Journal is an informational organizational tool and is not a medical device. It does not provide diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or real-time clinical monitoring. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding your blood pressure results.
